Explaining the premise, GaGa said: "It was one of the worst days of my life and it happened quite quickly, but in my mind, when I think back on that period of my life, it all happened very slow."My directorial decision was for them to just f****** roll the cameras, because I couldn't go in and out of the moment."
The clip starts with the singer being carted through a clinic before she lies stationary on a hospital bed following a mystery procedure.
Splasher flasher ... Lady GaGaHer eyes wet with tears, she tells a nurse: "I'm gonna be a star. You know why? Because I have nothing left to lose."Fast forward a few disturbing minutes and GaGa's back in her grubby apartment, lying topless as she speaks on the phone.
Getting things off her chest ... Lady GaGaThen she begins to destroy her flat before the opening of Marry The Night finally kicks in.Other acts of mental breakdown see her writhing around on a car and perching her bare derriere on the side of a bathtub.
Period drama ... Lady GaGa sporting sanitary padHer soaking body shimmers in the dim light as she throws shapes in the buff, all the while wearing heels.Eventually she breaks down following a harrowing display of fighting, setting cars on fire, dancing and more nudity.
