Next to winning country album of the year for the second year in a row, trio Lady Antebellum have a favorite memory from last weekend’s Grammy Awards that tickled many country music fans.
“The funniest thing to me … my best memory of this year’s Grammys, I think it was the front row, it went Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Lady Gaga. And Miranda kept bringing Lady Gaga drinks from backstage,” says Lady A’s Hillary Scott in a video posted on the band’s website. “We were a row behind them and kind of off to the right, so I just kind of watched this friendship develop like over the course of the it was really funny.”
Her bandmate Dave Haywood said he was impressed with how Gaga was able to drink through her fishnet veil.
As previously reported, Lambert, a Texas native who lives in Tishomingo, tweeted about her interesting seating arrangement during the Grammys:
“Y’all. I have a new friend! @ladygaga from NYC and a Texas girl. Who new! She is really sweet! The odd couple… well not really!” Lambert tweeted during the Feb. 12 show.
“She likes to cook and as of tonight is a fan of the randarita! 
(bacardi and crystal light)”
She following up Feb. 13 pondering on Twitter: “Wonder what my new friend @ladygaga is up to today? Hehe:)”
